Bezique is a card game that was popular in the late 19th Century. This counter was used for scoring purposes. Ivory base with mother-of-pearl pegs that rotate up to stand vertical within their notch. There is no maker's mark, but the reverse has a decal that partially reads "Drover Inn - Dover - Plains".
Condition: (Excellent).
