In this lot of four we have offered a self-winding Thomas Edison Stock Ticker mechanism under a clear glass dome. (9"D x 13"T.) This device rests upon a beautiful wooden base with carved moldings and columns, with recessed panels and front receptacle for expelled ticker tape. The small brass plaque at the front of the stand reads: "This authentic old self-winding stock ticker was designed by Thomas A. Edison in 1870. It was used for about eighty years for receiving stock and commodity quotations from the Nation's leading exchanges". (15"W x 27"D x 37-1/2"T.) Also included with this lot is a set of two photograph copies depicting this exact machine and stand in-use. The caption on the picture reading "120 Broadway, 1901". The final piece in this lot is a framed, signed print of "Stock Market" by artist Lee Dubin. This piece is signed in gold and black in the lower right hand corner and is professionally set in a golden frame. (31-1/2"T x 37-1/2"W.)
