This trimmer is on a steel base painted gold on the perimeter, brass trim, blade handle is wood with an ivory tip. Maker's mark on top reads "M. Hayes & Son / S.F. CALA". Michael Hayes was a foreman for famed knifemaker Michael Price in 1881 before forming his own cutler business with his son.
Condition: (Very Good).
