Features round carbine barrel with 1886 folding ladder carbine sight, two piece walnut stocks with carbine buttplate. Originally blue and case color finishes. The 1886 was the strongest lever action of the period and the Saddle Ring Carbine was a lot of power in a small package. Good condition as partially restored. The barrel and magazine retain an abundance of their respected contemporary finishes, while the receiver is void of finish with areas of patina in protected areas. The two piece stocks have several repairs in the tang area and the stocks have a relatively new contemporary finish. Bore is dark with rifling evident. Mechanics are fine.
