This is a Third Model 1873 Winchester that features octagonal barrel with full length tubular magazine, factory front and rear adjustable sights, blued lever action with original dust cover, case color lever and hammer, and front and rear walnut stocks with metal crescent buttplate and for-end cap. Gun retains approximately 70% of the original factory applied blue with the remainder turning to a pleasing brown patina. Hammer and lever show case colors in the protected areas. Wood is proud to metal with just a few handling and storage marks. Poor bore showing lands and grooves. Most of these rimfire guns do not have as much finish as this one.
