Circa 1870. Rare and wonderfully executed history of Captain Charles F. Mattison. Complete with period frame of high quality with raised gesso relief. Painting is very highly executed with tremendous detail. Details his life from 1861 to 1865. Details date battles, deployments, and a fairly complete history of his time served. Only minor marks, light wear, or soiling.
Condition: (9.0 - 9.5, Near Mint).
