(1966) 28" Barrels marked for skeet and skeet, are fitted with slightly raised, matted, ventilated rib. Left side of top barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY"; right side ".410 - GAUGE- SHELLS 3" MADE IN BELGIUM". Coin finished small sized OU action features gold plated single selective trigger and non-automatic safety. Action is engraved with pairs of pigeons flying through a background of simple scroll, and has rose bouquets on bottom. Fences are deeply carved with oak leaves and acorns, all in usual pigeon style. Long tang round knob buttstock of crotch figured American walnut measures 14 - 1/4" over composition Browning buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Full forend matches well. Includes non-matching Browning Superposed box. CONDITION: Excellent, with scant evidence of use and firing, with only some light marks in metal finishes, with some light flecks on barrels. Action has some brown areas due to congealed oil on bottom. Stocks have only a few light marks and a minimum of checking. Checkering still relatively light in color. Gold on trigger is excellent with just a hint of silvering. A fine, near new, pre-salt Browning .410. MGM 218
