Potpourri jar, also known in the Victorian era as a rose jar, attributed to Stevens & Williams has transparent red cameo flowers and leaves over a pearl-satin yellow background. The flowers are highlighted with gilt trim. The jar has a pierced ormolu collar as well as a pierced floral cast ormolu lid. A similar example is pictured on the cover of the book "Nineteenth Century Glass: Its Genesis and Development" by Albert Christian Revi. Very good to excellent condition.
