This rifle features the small Martini action with the Webley & Scott stamp along with Army & Navy CSL London stamp. The barrel is octagon with a full matted rib. Stocks are checkered walnut with pistol grip. Caliber is not marked but bore measures .38 which would indicate probable .380 Rook cartridge. The barrel is marked under the forend with matching serial number, 100, and British proofs. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 95 % original blue while the frame retains about the same percentage of the factory high polish blue finish. The stock is very good. The checkering is a bit worn and there is a small chip at left front of forend and a small chap at heel of stock at plate. Bore shows defined rifling but is frosted with some minor abrasion. A fine London small frame Martini rifle. DB
