The finely made Damascus barrel with with 1 - 3/4" bell mouth, plain breech, front action, bolted lock, Ottoman style arabesque engraving, highly figured circassian walnut full stock of rifle form with bone buttplate. Steel trigger guard in English manner engraved en suite with lock. CONDITION: Barrel is fine with clear and most attractive Damascus pattern throughout. Lock is lightly patinated with some very minor pitting around bolster of breech. Stock with minor marks and small fragment missing from left side of barrel, otherwise very good. Action is crisp. Bore is fair. A very attractive blunderbuss pistol.
