Manufactured 1855. Colt's most successful percussion revolver, the Model 1849 Pocket. 4" octagon barrel with 2-line New York Address. 5-shot .31 caliber cylinder with Ormsby stagecoach scene with blue finished barrel and cylinder and silver plated brass trigger guard and backstrap. Matching numbers including wedge. 1-piece varnished walnut grips. CONDITION: Good as totally refinished with legible markings and numbers. Frame is now blue finished and cylinder scene 60%. Bore is very good. Loading lever has been period repaired. Original screws have been repaired. Grips are worn with slight chip at toe. Action needs attention has the hammer has no half-cock or loading position. TDW
