Lot consists of: (A) English bar hammer revolver with normal British proofs throughout indicating Birmingham proofing. Blade front sight, no rear sight. Hammer and receiver are engraved with florals and geometrics, two piece checkered walnut grip scales. Cylinder with safety notches. CONDITION: Gun is essentially dove grey throughout with some areas of old inactive oxidation. There are a few flashes of case coloring at the recoil shield on right side. Grips with some scattered areas of abrasion, but full sized. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling and even oxidation throughout. (B) A well made Belgian copy of the Tranter pistol with blue barrel, half moon front sight. "(Star) / S" proofs on right side barrel, frame, rear of cylinder (which also has ELG proof). Checkered dark wood stocks with fixed lanyard ring. Engraved on trigger guard, cylinder, top strap, and frame with floral patterns. CONDITION: Good. Barrel and cylinder retain substantial high polish blue with even freckling and flaking throughout. Frame and straps essentially dove grey with some old inactive oxidation. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with even oxidation throughout. EW
