Ballard No. 2 Sporting rifle made from 1876 to 1891. Blued octagon barrel with blade front sight and Marble's rear adjustable sight. Case hardened single shot action with plain trigger. Walnut buttstock with crescent steel buttplate and walnut splinter forearm. CONDITION: 40% blue with balance returning to a silvery patina. Action colors turning to a brown patina. Wood has traces of finish with crack behind action and splinter chunk off forearm. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
