Beautiful cut and polished crystal from engraved wheel with detailed image of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass". Depicts the unicorn, mock turtle, gryphon, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, Mad Hatter and White Rabbit. In the tunnel towards which these creatures tumble sits Alice, peering through the mantle clock into the Looking Glass, where she is reflected. Her hair streams upward, weaving itself among the other storybook characters to unify the complex vision. 16 - 1/4" tall, 9" wide. Limited to single example. Beautiful condition.
