An exceedingly rare and completely original trade stimulator with few known examples, manufactured around 1901 by Portland Novelty Works. Having a domed cabinet accented with original plated copper flashing and fleur-de-lis details on either side. The machine is in all original paint and patina with signs of oxidation to the plated cast components, and would be enhanced with a good cleaning. With original reel strips and award card and back door which is not locked and open Works. No key.
