The word "rare" in the antique and collectibles world is used way too often. An item could be rare because there are few to be had, or rare to find one in great condition, or rare to find one working - all of which apply with this Michigan Novelty Works "Verdon's Twisters Cigars" vending machine. An amazing feat of late 19th to early 20th century engineering. The mechanism works with a succession of five rods that deploy in rotation after the nickel is deposited and the key is turned, to push a cigar out of the box in the machine to be delivered to the patron. Absolutely amazing. This machine is in original condition, with signs of wear and use, but with a presence lost to many early vending machines of its time. Working and with key.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
