A beautiful early 20th century reverse painted lamp. The 18” diameter shade depicts a pleasant seascape at sunset. The orange sky is reflected in sea below. The outer surface of the glass is textured, while the inner surface is smooth. The shade is in excellent condition, free of any cracks, breaks or repairs. Both the lower rim and aperture are free of cracks or chips. The shade sits on a two-socket base that stands 22 - 1/2” tall to the top of the shade rest. The base features a dragon motif, and is likely a tasteful marriage. The base includes heat cap and floral form finial. Base is in very good condition with some moderate loss to the finish around the foot.
