A Tiffany Studios leaded stained glass and bronze jeweled Drophead dragonfly table lamp decorated with a patinated leaded shade, itself decorated with dragonflies against an orange-yellow mottled and dichroic background, further decorated with each dragonfly body in a different color and different color jeweled eyes, further decorated with clear glass and confetti wings atop a patinated bronze tree trunk lamp base. The shade is impressed "Tiffany Studios New York 1507" and the base is impressed "Tiffany Studios New York 553". Base is in excellent condition, finished in a rich brown patina. The finish is even throughout, with no significant loss. No dents, cracks or deformities to the bronze. Heat cap appears to be original. Shade is in excellent condition, with beautiful mottled glass, and confetti glass in the dragonfly wings. No missing or loose tiles. Just a small number of scattered and stable hairline cracks. Filigree over the wings is intact with even patina. Shade is in round. Identical base is documented and photographed in "Tiffany Lamps and Metalware, New Edition Fully Revised and Extended: An Illustrated Reference to Over 2000 Models", ACC Art Books, page 126, figure 488.
