Measures 25 - 1/2" x 31 - 1/2" in frame with "ELEY" across the top, "SPORTING" and "MILITARY" one left and right sides, and "CARTRIDGES" across bottom. Approximately 55 shotshells, including 3 brass hulls and 4 cutaways showing stacking of shot, wads, and powder, in gauges ranging from 4 Bore to .360. Approximately 73 rounds for rifles in pistols, ranging from .22 rimfire blanks all the way up to .450 Nitro Express. 4 tins of primer caps, 6 tins displaying shot sizes from 5 to 9. Components are artfully arranged around central "ELEY / AMMUNITION" with monogram. CONDITION: Excellent, with no signs of restoration. Wooden frame has darkened a bit from age and has some chipping and rubs but lettering is clear; "CARTRIDGES" has some more chipping than others. Cartridges are excellent with some minor spotting. Good coloring and legends on cartridges are easily legible. This is a really lovely cartridge board ready to hang! PROVENANCE: From the collection of Nathan Posner, former owner of the San Francisco Gun Exchange and most recently on display at the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum of Cody, Wyoming. EW

Item Dimensions: 25 - 1/4" L x 2" W x 30 - 1/2" H.
