Circa 1990. This 12 gauge 27" monobloc barreled, double hammer, non-ejector game gun is built with extended, machined flat top rib and brass round front bead sight. Right barrel reads "JOHN RIGBY & CO." in Gold "Paso Robles, CA." Left barrel reads "12 ga. 2 3/4" in gold. Barrel flats with appropriate Italian proof marks and "VINCENZO BERNARDELLI - GARDONE VT" as this shotgun was built in Italy. Bottom barrels are stamped for Improved Modified and Improved Cylinder. A handsome European straight hand grip stock with fine and sharp checkering measures to center at 14 - 7/8" over a black rubber 1/2" Decelerator pad. A faint grey, case colored, scroll engraved action is built with a Greener styled cross bolt, scroll engraved water table, case colored top lever, checkered slide safe with "S" in gold and engraved, checkered case colored dog eared rebounding double hammers. The blued double triggers are protected by a blacked trigger guard with "GDM" monogrammed in gold inlay extend to a long engraved blued bottom strap. The matching splinter forend with blued checkered Anson-styled release and its hardware is also engraved with fine scroll. The gun travels in a "JOHN RIGBY & CO." Americase. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels have 90% blue with some handling marks and light freckling. The action is tight on face and triggers are crisp. Stock and forend with light handling marks. Case very good with light handling and storage marks. CP
