Lot consists of (A) Indian War's Frazier's Patent cartridge box with "NG" National Guard plate on the front. There are no visible markings. CONDITION: The plate is in untouched condition with a nice patina and remains firmly attached. The cartridge box is missing the left leather side wall and the wooden block that would hold cartridges. The leather is stiff and exhibits scratches, cracking, warping, and other blemishes. Overall fair. (B) Indian Wars officer's cartridge box with "NG" National Guard plate on the front. There are no visible markings. The cartridge box retains the wooden block for holding cartridges but is missing the securing strap. CONDITION: The plate and brass flap border are in untouched condition with a nice patina and remains firmly attached. The leather remains somewhat pliable and exhibits scratches, cracking, warping, and other blemishes. Overall good. JLD
