This lot consists of a 14" doll with closed mouth, blue inset glass eyes, incised on back of head "1007" and is on a five-piece Sonneberg-type body with straight wrists, wears white clothing and a replaced human hair wig. Although not identified specifically as to maker, it has a great resemblance to a Simon & Halbig 949 in appearance. The second is an Armand Marseilles 390 with brown glass sleep eyes and open mouth with teeth, on a nice fully-jointed wooden composition body, old clothing and human hair wig. In addition, there are two dolls that need TLC, the smaller being incised "AM 1894" and has an open mouth with teeth, blue glass sleep eyes and a fully-jointed body, but the lower-right arm is broken and missing. Another girl in need of some attention is a 21" girl, incised "S&H Baby Blanche", but she has her eyelids chipped on right side on the upper rim and is missing several of her original teeth. The body is a fully-jointed wooden composition body with typical age wear. Sizes range from 14" to 21". Also included is some period clothing, similar to those of the doll, including two dresses, an original factory cotton shift, a long baby dress and several odd pieces of white cotton undergarments.
