Always a desirable doll, in the style of either Rohmer and/or Huret. The doll bears no mark but is of the quality of either manufacturer. She has lovely pale complexion with rouged cheeks and mouth, inset glass eyes, tiny painted lashes and nice even brows. Head is mounted to all white kid body with separately stitched fingers and gusset joints at elbows, hips and knees. Doll has been elaborately costumed in a two piece red wool walking dress with pleated bottom, metallic braid, lamb’s wool collar and matching muff, as well as new black velvet boots with matching material to the muff and cap on the tops of the boots. Some typical slight discoloration at the hands.
