Framed vellum British legal document dated 1692 in the reign of William and Mary between Thomas Scott and William Slow, fixing rent and terms on a lease of sixty years, to expire in 1752. Very clear brown ink with vignette portrait busts in black ink at upper left of William and Mary. Wax seal and signature of witnesses at bottom left. Nicely laid out, not matted, in a modern wood frame. CONDITION: Very good, with strong visual appeal. Folds and slight water stain to right edge, but no losses or illegible sections except for the last couple of letters in some places at right edge.
