1854 BRAIDED HAIR LARGE CENT — PCGS MS66RB

A beautiful Gem Red-Brown example with vibrant remaining red luster framed by warm, original brown accents. The surfaces are exceptionally well-preserved for the type, showing smooth fields and sharply rendered detail in Liberty’s portrait and the wreath. The MS66RB grade highlights its premium eye appeal and outstanding color balance — a top-tier piece for collectors of high-grade early copper with a total of 11 pieces graded by PCGS at the MS66RB level with none higher as of August 2026. Cert No. 58997590.
