1858-S SAN FRANCISCO PRE-CIVIL WAR $20 PCGS AU53

A scarce San Francisco pre-Civil War $20 showing warm, original color and strong remaining luster for the grade. Light, honest circulation wear is present, yet the major devices retain solid definition — especially the Shield and Liberty’s portrait. The fields show natural character typical of early-S-mint gold, giving the coin an appealing and historic look. A pleasing AU53 example of a tougher early-date Double Eagle. Cert No. 57624519.
