1890 CC $20.00 A Liberty Head Gold Double Eagle. A highly desirable Carson City $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle, struck at the historic Carson City Mint. With a mintage of just 91,209 coins, the 1890-CC remains one of the most popular CC gold issues among collectors. Most surviving examples saw circulation, making attractive specimens especially sought after. This example has had some light cleaning. Has attractive hairline details on the obverse and lots of wing action on the reverse.
