This doll's head is stamped in red on the back "B te SGDG RD". Head is clearly made by Jumeau, but for the firm known more for mechanical dolls and toys, Roullet and Decamp. She has brown paperweight eyes, thick multi stroke brows, finely painted lashes and pierced earlobes. Although not marked as such, one would assume that she would be marked Tete Jumeau, but the RD stands for the manufacturer of the item overall and not the maker of the head. The forearms and lower legs resemble a typical wood and composition body. The lower part of the torso is covered in leather, as are the upper parts of the legs. In the torso, protruding from one side, is a key wind mechanism. When wound, the mechanism within the torso allows the dolls legs to move back and forth in a walking motion. Clothing is replaced with antique fabric and in the original style. She has French leather antique shoes which are incised "9 CM" on the bottom and a nice antique ash blond mohair wig with side part. Mechanism functions well.

Condition: (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: Height: 17 - 1/2".
