Ladies' antique 18k yellow gold Plique à Jour emerald and diamond dragonfly brooch with articulated wings, head and tail. Enameled wings in excellent condition with no breaks or losses. There are a total of 28 round cut diamonds set in silver mounts applied over gold, with two round cut bezel-set emerald eyes. The central body of the dragonfly is set with one large oval cut emerald measuring approximately 9.5 x 6.7mm with an estimated weight of 1.75cts. Brooch measures 3-1/4" from wingtip to wingtip, and 2-3/4" from head to tail. Gross weight is 21.1 grams. Unmarked.
