18K Yellow Gold H/C Key Wind/Key Set Pocket Watch by Thomas Russell & Son, London. Engine turned case measures 52mm in diameter and is fully hallmarked on the inside lid/cover. The case has some soft and honest wear consistent with age and use, but no damage whatsoever. Beautiful white enameled dial with gold spade hands, black roman numerals and a single sunken subsidiary dial with arabic seconds at the six o'clock position. Dial also has a rare and unusual "Up/Down" wind indicator at twelve o'clock, and is marked "Thos. Russell & Son, London" and numbered "49112". Movement marked "Thos. Russell & Son, 7 Thavies Inn, Holborn, London" and numbered "49112". Also included is an 8" long yellow gold plated pocket watch chain with a steel barrel type number 6 key for both winding and setting. Watch is setting properly and in very good running order. Gross weight of watch only is 128.4 grams.
