Extremely rare 18k pink gold Waltham hunting cased pocket watch with exceptional alternating inlaid panels of pink and white gold-quartz surrounding central yellow gold California grizzly bear. Fitted with a beautiful size 18, 21 jewel, Vanguard grade lever-set movement, no. 7021241, circa 1889. Case diameter measures 54mm. Case marked with raised K over 18 within a tombstone-shaped mark to inside of back cover. Triple-sunken white porcelain Roman numeral dial with blued steel spade hands. Gross weight is 138.7 grams. Crystal is broken at hinge. Dial with small hairline cracks around seconds register. Light scratches to case body and back cover. Watch is running, and in very good working order.
