Circa 1956, manufactured by the Fedam Company, Elmwood Park, Illinois, a rare and early hot-food vending machine developed in cooperation with the Campbell Soup Company. Introduced in September 1956, the Model VS-1 was designed to vend up to 50 individual eight-ounce cans from ten selections, with electrically heated interior and push-button selection controlling the individual can-release mechanisms. CONDITION: Appears substantially complete and in original, unrestored condition, retaining original Campbell’s advertising graphics, selection buttons, product labels, interior magazines and dispensing mechanisms. Cabinet shows scattered paint loss, scratches, oxidation, surface rust and general wear consistent with commercial use and age. Advertising panel remains bright and displays well with scattered minor marks and staining. Manufacturer’s identification label exhibits considerable deterioration but remains partially legible. Original-style detachable cloth-covered electrical cord is not presently installed. Operational status has not been tested.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (Good).
