Trophy that a young Cassius Clay won for the light heavyweight division of the 1958 Louisville Golden Gloves. The trophy stands just over 11" tall with a fighter atop a white and brown Bakelite base. The brass plate reads "Louisville Golden Gloves Light Heavyweight Champion 1958". Underneath a piece of cloth tape reads "FROM THE DESK OF JOE MARTIN COLUMBIA GYM LOUISVILLE KY". There is a letter detailing the history of the trophy by Ali collector Peter Markovian and a letter of opinion from Craig Hamilton.
