Founded in 1903 in Nebraska, the Cushman scooter company earned a solid reputation for building dependable smaller vehicles that included lawnmowers, light farm equipment, and small boats, as well as scooters. In 1949, Cushman produced its most successful machine: The Cushman Eagle. In 1950 the Cushman Eagle was dressed up with new styling and made into the Super Eagle, a premium version of the Eagle, featuring upgraded sheet metal covers, with the rear often including stylish tail fins. It used a 318cc 4-stroke flathead-style motor producing 8-9 HP and could hit speeds over 50mph. CONDITION: Scooter appears to be in original unrestored condition with minor repairs over the years. Tires show minor oxidation from age, paint and chrome have layers of dust from sitting, but it wouldn’t take much to bring it back to original condition. This could be returned to operational condition with light repairs and routine maintenance, or fully restored to show-quality condition. We have made no attempt to start this scooter, but it moves freely and the motor turns over with compression. Sold as-is with no warranty.
