C. 1925. Exhibit Supply Co., Chicago IL. This rare arcade counter game was first introduced as a gum vending machine. A penny is placed in the coin slot and flipped into the playfield. If you were lucky to get the center column, you would get your gumball and your penny back. CONDITION: It shows wear from use and age with scuffs, as well as paint loss to the front tin door. All original playfield and marquee. A very respectable example of the rare machine. See elsewhere in this auction for the sister machine, "Hit Smiling Sam."
