C. 1920. CONDITION: Marked for the National Weighing Machine Co. out of New York. This machine was made for the Mills Automatic Merchandising Corp., whose offices were in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston and others. It is wood construction with an original backdoor, porcelain base and mirrored front. There are some areas of oxidation to the metal components. The foot plate and top cap have been restored. The scale is very Art Deco in styling, and it is operational.
