This impressive early cast-iron Wrist Twist strength tester appears to be in original condition or more likely, a very early museum-quality restoration. This particular type of strength tester is in the "extremely rare" category, as it tests the power in one's wrist as opposed to the traditional lift machines or even grip testers. The patron twists the handle to measure strength. The dial reads 0 to 400 pounds of test. The machine has an exceptional early figural appearance with heavy chain that moves dial when the patron twists knobs, giving it an extra early appearance. Ultra-rare and exceptional condition. Manufactured by the Rosenfield Manufacturing Co., 587 Hudson Street, New York. Patented November 10, 1903 and with serial No. L340.
