This 24" (60cm) classic Jumeau Bébé has lovely blue paperweight eyes, heavy multi-stroke arched eyebrows, tiny well-painted lashes and a closed mouth with full lips and the illusion of a slight space between them. She has pierced earlobes and on the back of her head is a red stamp, which reads "DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU Bte SGDG 12." She is mounted to a fully-articulated wood and composition French body with straight wrists, unmarked with mostly original finish, with slight wear and touch-up to hands. She is wearing a dotted Swiss cotton outfit, with ribbon insertions at waist, antique undergarments, antique striped cotton stockings and antique brown leather shoes, impressed on the soles "11 BÉBÉ JUMEAU DEPOSE." The wig is a very nice blonde mohair wig, covered by a very nice cream silk and lace bonnet. One should be aware that normally a size 12 Jumeau of this age is on a body which makes her about 2" taller than the 24" that this example measures.
