25¢ KIDDIE CAROUSEL RIDE WITH WHITE PICKET FENCE AND MANNEQUIN

Kiddie-sized 25¢ operation carousel with wonderful original paint, composite horses, and young organ grinder wearing a colorful hat. The steam apparatus in the center has the appearance of a boiler and is made to scale, made of composite with a coin mechanism added. A hand-painted marquee on the top of the center structure reads "Design by Peter Petz ©96 Germany / Creator & Manufacturer of Awarded Carousels & Attractions". The top marquee is of the same composite and consists of a crown with thick plastic, bright-striped, red and white cover. The carousel panels on the top show the a carousel in a setting with a tractor and other vehicles on the first panel, the second panel reading "Merlin's 1896 Steam Carousel", and the third panel showing a hot air balloon in a vibrant countryside. All panels are separated and the seams are covered by round marquees with bursting stars in the center. Also included is a mannequin of a drummer-type boy dressed in fancy clothing with a wonderful feathered hat, as well as a hand truck designed to help move the piece. CONDITION: Free of chips and breaks, overall excellent condition. All paint is bright and colorful. The wooden slat floor is in excellent condition. The carousel is surrounded by seven interlocking sections of picket fence with gold finials and red posts, all in excellent condition, along with two extra posts.
