A very rare cast iron slot machine from Caille. Unlike the Mills Operators Bell and Liberty Bell which are seen more often, the Caille version of the Operators Bell is very scarce. Similar in style to the Mills Novelty Liberty Bell counterpart, with highly detailed nickel-plated castings featuring scenes of New York landmarks, including the Liberty Bell and the Statue of Liberty. With the original Caille stamped back door and locks and original reel strips. This example is missing the marquee and raised coin entry, however the machine is operative and works just fine when a nickel is deposited. In silver/grey paint, easily removed and a nice home-made tin marquee. An acceptable restoration to a very rare Caille cast iron slot machine. With key. C. 1910.
