H. C. Evans produced the Roll-ette in 1936. This console gambling mechanism machine has become one of the rarest and and most sought after consoles of its time. Designed to compliment other Evans race machines, the concept of play is totally one of a kind. Designed as an automatic roulette wheel, it also has payouts - but the payout drawer was hidden under the coin slots to cover up the gambling aspect of the machine. If payout occurred, the player would push on the right side of the bottom panel to receive winnings. 5¢ bets are placed on one to three numbers before roulette wheel would spin and indicate winner. This rare and distinct original finish machine has an impressive Art Deco appeal. Very minimal surface scratches and scuffs that are non-offensive and in fact add to the overall stunning look of this investment-grade machine. Works well and with keys.
