This was Watling's answer the ever popular Mills Brownie. Less elaborate than the Mills version but a much more elusive and rare machine! The most notable and attractive features of this particular machine are the oversized Palmer Cox Brownie heads that adorn the center of the litho dial. Nice smooth play action, original cloth cash bag, original paneled wooden rear door and a nice older restoration. This machine, many years ago, was in the famed Stan Harris collection. Circa 1902, with key.
