C. 1940. This horse race-themed slot machine pays out from a hidden door on the end and advertises as being for amusement only. The floor model console was manufactured by Baker Novelty & Mfg. Co. from 1939 to 1946. CONDITION: It has a nicely refinished wooden cabinet with little wear and a very clean interior, displaying vibrant colors and nice graphics. Plated components show some oxidation and foxing, and the interior shows an older restoration with newly painted horses. Will require some maintenance in order to work correctly. This is an electro-mechanical device, and is sensitive to movement. We can not guarantee that it will operate when delivered to the new owner.
