This is a General Stationary vending machine made by the General Vending Service Co. in the 1930's. This machine is made of cast-iron and offered a piece of writing paper and a stamped envelope for a nickel. Their advertising read "Your one stop shopping for all your stationary needs". This example is in original paint, with excellent front labels, showing moderate signs of wear and use. It comes with an envelope on display in the window. A very unusual vending machine. With key.
