This was Watling's answer the ever popular Mills Brownie. Less elaborate than the Mills version but a much more elusive and rare machine! Great aged patina to the nickel castings, original Watling Decal on the side cabinet, original finish, and great color to the wheel, showing some light pitting. Nice smooth play action, original paneled wooden rear door and replaced lock. A great original example and worth of any collection. Circa 1902, with key.
