The first box is rectangular with a lid pierced and chased with standing figures over low chased sides, Neresheimer, Hanau, with import marks of Berthold Mueller, London 1905; the second with a shaped triangular body, William Comyns London 1905, with a pierced and chased lid with a central reserve; the third also Comyns, London 1912 with an oval body and a detachable lid pierced and chased with small figures in a scroll and latticework frame; the fourth London 1899 with a rounded square body, pierced and chased lid with a cavalier in a landscape, maker's mark SJ; the fifth William Comyns London 1907, oblong with a pierced and chased lid with three classical figures in a landscape; and the sixth, also William Comyns, London 1909, oval with a pierced leafage cover. All with signs of use. Length of first: 4". Total weight: 18.1 ozt.
