Lot consists of 7 items dating from the Civil War through WW1. (A) Civil War veteran’s GAR belt and buckle on brown leather belt with keeper. Matching bench numbers. CONDITION: Very Good. (B) USN officer’s belt and buckle with keeper, folded brown leather, English import, ca. WWI. Buckle with name Atkeson scratched into the back. CONDITION: Very Good. (C) Civil War NCO belt. M1851 eagle plate and keeper with matching bench numbers and correct flat brass adjusting hook. CONDITION: Very Good. (D) Indian War/ Spanish-American War period PA National Guard .45-70 McKeever box, with 5 rounds, waist belt and matching NGP rectangular belt plate. CONDITION: Very Good. (E) Civil War J.E. Condict marked infantry cartridge box. Fitted with oval US box plate. Scarce Type-1 July 1864 pattern omitting inner flap. No magazine tins. CONDITION: Good. Finish loss. (F) Civil War infantry cartridge box and sling. Both plates in place. CONDITION: Fair. Tins replaced. Sling with tears and one billet missing. Side ear loose on inner flap. Implement pouch cover missing. Finish loss. (G) Civil War infantry cartridge box rig with both plates, full sling, magazine tins. CONDITION: Very good. Minor damage to tins, missing divider. Minor rubbing, finish loss. A good cross section of US 19th Century leather gear with four Civil War period pieces.
