This American bayonet has a 2-1/8" socket with a 7/8" diameter opening. The triangular tapered blade measures 14-1/4". Complete with its original black leather scabbard. CONDITION: Bayonet retains a brown patina with some minor pitting and light cleaning. Scabbard shows some losses to stitching towards tip and some deterioration at throat. Retains traces of original crazed surface. A nice early bayonet.
