Drip Glaze Edda Vase with thick application of pastel colored glazes running down body of vase like melted ice cream. Superb example of this glaze application on this interesting form. Raised Edda mark. Amphora Oval mark. Impressed “3622". 9" high. Circa 1900. Similar examples are illustrated in Monsters and Maidens: Collectors Edition, Vreeland, p. 212 and The House of Amphora, Scott, p. 174-177.
