22" slender-faced socket head with open mouth and four upper teeth, incised in back of head "1159 S & H 8 Germany" with a red stamp also reading "Wimbern". Her brown glass eyes have been fixed into permanent position; she has lower painted lashes but the original silk upper lashes are no longer present. She has pierced ears, well painted multi-stroke eyebrows, with head mounted to the original elongated adult lady-type body, more slender than the child body with narrow waist, realistic molded chest and fully articulated at shoulders, elbows hips and knees with straight wrists. She has her hair in an upswept Gibson Girl style with long ankle-length dress of white cotton gauze, collar which extends up permanently covering the neck, with lace trim at wrists, waist and top. All undergarments are antique as are the white leather shoes with silvery brass buckles. CONDITION: Overall very good, other than as noted; there are some lines in the left eye on both sides of the iris.
